Job summary

Long Wharf Theatre seeks a Company Manager to coordinate day-to-day artist logistics and hospitality across itinerant productions, rehearsals, and residencies in the Greater New Haven area. The role reports to the General Manager (Finance & Operations) and supports administration between production periods.

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of relevant experience in company management, stage management, arts administration, or comparable work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate artist logistics during rehearsals, performances, and residencies, including transportation and housing arrangements.
• Assist with travel details, schedules, and hospitality, including welcome packets with local information.
• Coordinate housing for visiting artists, setup and turnover between residencies, and scheduling cleaning.
• Provide on-site support during load-in/strike and communicate schedule changes to all stakeholders.
• Manage comp tickets and house seat holds for artists and guests; support post-show events and community engagements.
