Job summary

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) invites applications for a Part Time Theater Manager based in Los Angeles, CA. The role supports a private screening facility and coordinates with studio contracts, catering, security, and patrons.

On-site work at the LA headquarters is required, with an emphasis on customer service and event support. Ideal candidates will have theater operations or security experience, flexible hours including weeknights/weekends, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Requires background in theater operations, facility management, or security.
• Must be available to work varied hours, including weeknights and weekends.
• Professional appearance is essential.
• Comply with strict business ethics guidelines.
• Requires 20-25 hrs./wk.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to all DGA members, patrons, vendors, and colleagues.
• Facilitate and support a variety of internal meetings and event rentals from small committee meetings to large screenings and receptions.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of DGA management, in-house projection staff, security officers, parking staff, and engineers.
• Assist in the setup, execution, and strike of assigned DGA meetings and/or events rentals.
• The ideal candidate will also stand for long periods of time and will be expected to work well in a team environment.
• Some lifting will be required.
• Supervise areas.
