Department/Group Overview:
The legendary El Capitan Theatre, opened on May 3, 1926, as "Hollywood's First Home of Spoken Drama," has been restored to its original grandeur with a Spanish Colonial exterior and an elaborate East Indian interior designed by G. Albert Lansburgh. The theatre features a restored stage, high-speed lift, modern lighting, remodeled dressing rooms, and advanced special effects, seating 1,000 with a Dolby SR-D audio system. It serves as a first-run venue for Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and others, hosting premieres and live shows to bring showmanship back to Hollywood Boulevard.
Job Summary:
