Job summary

Regal Cinemas is seeking a General Manager to lead the theatre, inspire the team, and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will balance business performance with people leadership to create a theatre your staff are proud of.

You’ll own daily operations, drive sales and cost control, hire and coach staff, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain an exceptional guest experience from opening to closing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team while driving results.
• Strong understanding of day-to-day operations and basic financial management.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with theatre systems and technology is a plus.
• Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service where applicable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your theatre’s performance, monitoring sales and expenses to support the business.
• Follow company policies, handle cash properly, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
• Keep daily operations on track from scheduling to daily reporting.
• Build and lead a strong team through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Create a great guest experience by setting a service tone and resolving concerns.
• Oversee theatre environment—maintain cleanliness, stock, and efficient operations.
• Monitor financial and operational results and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Ensure inventory management, ordering, and cost control across concessions and supplies.
• Maintain theatre systems and equipment, including projection and audio-visual functionality.
• Lead by example on the floor, supporting your team during peak times.
