Job summary

SCAD Savannah seeks a temporary theater events coordinator to support Trustees Theater and Lucas Theatre for the Arts, coordinating daily operations, calendars, rentals, and meeting requests for the executive director and staff.

You’ll help plan travel for the SCAD Savannah Film Festival and aTVFest, oversee look books and correspondence with industry reps, and supervise student teams, with occasional box office support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, film, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and social media platforms.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the executive director with the daily operations of SCAD theaters and festivals.
• Manage calendars for Trustees Theater and Lucas Theatre for the Arts.
• Coordinate travel and look books for film festivals and industry engagements.
• Coordinate event-related requests with theater leadership (tech, concessions, catering, linens).
• Coordinate meeting requests and staff communications, including weekly staff meetings.
• Occasionally assist the box office manager with shift coverage.
• Supervise student teams as needed.
