Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Server - Beer and Wine to guide Guests in ordering food and beverages, greet guests, and suggest menu items. You will handle alcohol transactions, ensure compliance, and support kitchen staff to deliver accurate orders in a fast-paced theater environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of age where required (18+ or 21+ in some states) for serving alcohol.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local certifications as required.
• completes Safe Alcohol Service training for staff.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; regular attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with strong guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Good in-person/ written communication with all ages and backgrounds; fluent English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions; sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Know bar and menu items in a fast-paced setting to enhance the Guest experience.
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests.
• Handle transactions on the register with proper cash balance and logging.
• Verify identification for alcohol transactions to ensure 21+ eligibility.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing high-contact areas and following PPE protocols.
• Adapt to varying cleaning tasks and staffing needs.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
