Job summary

State Theatre, operated by Cinema West Inc., is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Theater General Manager in overseeing daily operations of guest services, facility management, and staff coaching. The role requires management experience in theater, service, or retail, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position in Woodland, CA. Ideal candidates will be professional, trustworthy, and able to work with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college coursework preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of employee supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment.
• Performs and supervises duties of Concession, Box Office, Kitchen and Usher.
• Recruits, trains, develops, and assesses performance of floor staff.
• Supports daily goals, tasks and assignments.
• Answers customer questions and resolves complaints.
• Performs daily inventory and cash-out at end of shift.
• Keeps the theater clean and orderly.
• Monitors safety or security issues.
• Pours alcoholic beverages in compliance with state laws and Cinema West policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
