Job summary

Frederick County Public Schools seeks a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Theater Arts at Gov. Thomas Johnson Middle School. The role starts ASAP with daily hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, at a rate of $24.64 per hour.

The substitute will ensure instructional opportunity and manage dynamic, engaging classrooms while aligning with district goals and policies. Required: Associate degree or 60 college credits, with a preference for Bachelor's/Master’s and MSDE teaching certification.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or 60 college credits.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
• MSDE professional teacher certificate required.
• Knowledge of FCPS policies and programs is a plus.
