Job summary

The Parkwood, operated by Transforming Age in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a friendly Server to work weekdays from 4 PM to 7 PM with some flexibility. The position offers $16–$17 per hour DOE, 15–20 hours per week, and strong benefits for full-time and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ to serve beer and wine (preferred).
• Previous server experience highly preferred.
• Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with drink selection and serve daily three-course evening meals.
• Confirm and share menu details with residents, answer questions and help with dinner service; assist with to-go orders and meal delivery.
• Deliver food efficiently to residents and aid as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for next meal service.
• Assist with light back-of-house/kitchen duties (salad prep, soup service, desserts, coffee).
• Assist with clearing tables and transporting dishes to the dishwash area; may help with light dish duty.
• Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including special events and buffets.
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Parkwood, Transforming Age and our Affiliates.

We have a Fantastic opportunity for a Server to join our team! This role works with an incredible population of residents on weekdays in a fantastic environment.

Our Servers:

• Assist residents with drink selection and serve daily three-course evening meal with residents.

• Clears, cleans, and resets tables for next meal service.

• Assists with clearing table and bringing dishes to dishwash area. Occasionally help with light dish duty.
• Observes residents to ensure safety in our dining areas.

What you need to succeed:

• To serve beer and wine, must be at least 18 years of age or older (not required but preferred).
• Previous server experience highly preferred.
• Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills.
