Job summary

The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, is hiring a Server for the November–December season in San Francisco. You will take drink orders, serve guests, and help create a festive experience at The Merriest Bar. Compensation includes hourly pay plus tips, with a focus on friendly service and strong knowledge of cocktails.

Experience in restaurant or bar settings is preferred. Must be at least 21, have or be willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification, and be available during peak

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or eagerness to learn.
• Strong cocktail knowledge and serving experience preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse guests.
• Willingness to obtain CA Food Handler's Certification and pass RBS training.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver drink orders to seated parties.
• Assist guests in selecting drinks and act as subject matter expert.
• Identify issues requiring escalation to management.
• Maintain overall floor cleanliness and organization.
• Support host team in seating and flow of the floor.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.

The Merriest - Server (Christmas season, November-December)
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up returns at our Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco. The magic comes to life as a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights, tinseled kitsch, glitter, Christmas movies and the holiday tunes…..some of which are still rockin' around our heads!

Delicious seasonal hot and frosty cocktails are served in holiday vessels, garnished to the stars. Bring friends, call for the eggnog, sit on Santa's Throne and enjoy the fantastic Christmas spirit.

We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver drink orders to seated parties
• Act as subject matter expert to guests and aid them in making selections
• Determine situations that need to be escalated to the management team
• Maintain overall floor cleanliness
• Support the host team in seating as necessary
• Assist in opening and closing

Qualifications

• Able to service multiple tables at once
• Strong cocktail knowledge and serving experience preferred
• Demonstrate an ability to interact with many types of guests effectively
• Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler's Certification and pass RBS training
• 21+ years of age or older
