The Merriest Bar in San Francisco is seeking a friendly bartender for the Christmas season (November–December). Join our pop-up at Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar and help serve festive cocktails in a magical setting.

Typical shifts 3:30 pm–2:30 am. Experience in fast-paced hospitality, ability to stand long hours, and a warm guest-first attitude are essential. Seasonal employment with tips and benefits as offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a busy hotel, restaurant, or nightclub.
• Knowledge of various drink-building techniques and styles.
• Classic cocktail knowledge is a must.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours and lift 40 lbs.
• Flexible evening availability.

• Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service
• Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently
• Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary
• Keep work relationships professional and courteous

The Merriest - Bartender (Christmas season, November-December)
The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up returns at our Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco. The magic comes to life as a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights, tinseled kitsch, glitter, Christmas movies and the holiday tunes.....some of which are still rockin' around our heads!

Delicious seasonal hot and frosty cocktails are served in holiday vessels, garnished to the stars. Bring friends, call for the eggnog, sit on Santa's Throne and enjoy the fantastic Christmas spirit.

We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.

• Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships
• Flexible evening availability
• Able to take direction and follow through on all reasonable requests from managers
• Able to stand 8-10 hours
• Ability to lift 40bs. without assistance
