Job summary

The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up, is hiring a Host in San Francisco. Join us for November-December as we welcome guests to our alpine lodge setting and festive experience.

Typical shifts run from 3:30 pm to 2:30 am. Experience in hospitality is preferred; Cali Food Handler certification and RBS training are a plus. Competitive hourly pay with tips and benefits are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage or hospitality industry preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of guest service needs.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Experience using Yelp Guest Manager a plus.
• Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler's Certification and pass RBS training.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Must be able to stand for 8 - 10 hours.

• Qualify guests' identification
• Actively greet and seat guests and communicate their status to floor team
• Answer all phone calls, emails, and event inquiries
• Assist in opening and end of day close out as necessary

The Merriest - Host (Christmas season, November-December)

The Merriest Bar, a Christmas wonderland pop-up returns at our Shotski's Alpine Lodge Bar in San Francisco. The magic comes to life as a kaleidoscope of twinkling lights, tinseled kitsch, glitter, Christmas movies and the holiday tunes.....some of which are still rockin' around our heads!

Delicious seasonal hot and frosty cocktails are served in holiday vessels, garnished to the stars. Bring friends, call for the eggnog, sit on Santa's Throne and enjoy the fantastic Christmas spirit.

We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Typical hours are between 3:30 pm and 2:30 am.

Responsibilities
