Job summary

Shaner Hotels at the DoubleTree by Hilton Neenah, The Forge Kitchen & Parlor, seeks a friendly Food & Beverage team member to join our Downtown Neenah location near the Riverwalk. This role supports the restaurant operations, serving guests with a warm, professional approach and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Take orders, prepare beverages and meals, maintain stock and cleanliness, and assist with banquet events when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in the Restaurant / Food and Beverage field.
• Minimum state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training a plus.
• Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Ability to accurately compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities
