Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a housekeeping professional at the DoubleTree by Hilton Neenah in Wisconsin. You will maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, assist guests with requests, and follow safety and security procedures while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cleaning experience, hotel experience preferred, and knowledge of chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Complete other housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Housekeeping is a great day-time position!


• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.


• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.


• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.


• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.


• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.


• Other duties as assigned.
