Job summary

The Langham Boston, part of Langham Hospitality Group, seeks a guest-focused team member to greet and seat guests, handle reservations, and ensure impeccable service while upholding Langham standards.

Responsibilities include answering calls, managing Opentable, taking takeout orders, and assisting other F&B staff. Evening availability and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Must have related previous experience in similar environment.
• Use written (verbal/visual) sources of information, e.g. read reports, procedural documentation, reference materials.
• Use non-verbal auditory sources of information, e.g. alarms.
• Use oral communication to perform work, e.g. answer telephone, and receive visitors.
• Stand; Reach; Grasp; Lift/Carry; Walk; Kneel; Squat/ Bend; Push/Pull.
• Make minor decisions requiring limited judgment, e.g. task sequencing, prioritize workload.
• React well and remain in control when working with high volume under pressure.
• Attend monthly department meeting and provided trainings.
• Must have a flexible schedule with availability to work evenings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Assist server/busser/barback/bartender as needed.
