Job summary

Little Grenjai in Brooklyn is seeking a Kitchen Expeditor to join our Thai-American diner team. You’ll liaison between kitchen and service, ensuring timely delivery and quality checks in a fast-paced open kitchen.

You’ll interact with guests, assist servers when needed, and train new team members. A 2+ year line cook background, passion for Thai cuisine, and English fluency with Spanish for communication are desired.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a line cook position.
• Line Cook experience with breakfast/brunch menus.
• Passion for Thai cuisine or eagerness to learn.
• Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct yourself in a professional manner in our open kitchen.
• Oversee the kitchen pass and runners during service periods.
• Maintain high standards of quality, taste and presentation.
• Use our touch screen Square pos system to communicate with kitchen and keep your station organized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and stocked station and work area at all times.
• Listen and communicate clearly and effectively with all team members.
• Embodies a professional demeanor in a very high stress level position.
• Support in the service training of all new team members in the food runner positions.
