Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a THAAD System Operator to join our team.

You will support test events by operating assigned systems and workstations, applying setup and testing procedures, and collaborating with team members. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience (or a high school diploma with 6 years), strong troubleshooting and communication skills, Unix/Linux experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Some Unix/Linux experience and knowledge of Missile Defense Systems is a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team to complete a test event spanning weeks to months.
• Operate one or more workstations such as TFCC, AN/TPY-2 TM, SOLD, CDLI-M, or NSITE as needed.
• Learn component specifics and testing procedures.
• Perform data collection and post-test processing of data.
• Occasional off-hours and travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
