Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks a THAAD System Operator to join a dynamic team and support test events by operating THAAD systems and simulation workstations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with team members, learning component specifics, collecting data, and performing post-test processing. Off-hours and travel may be required; U.S. citizenship and active security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of relevant experience or high school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Some Unix/Linux experience and knowledge of Missile Defense Systems is a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a team environment to complete a test event, which can span from a few weeks to several months.
• Operate one or more workstations as needed: TFCC, AN/TPY-2 TM, SOLD, CDLI-M, NSITE.
• Learn component specifics to conduct tests, including initialization parameters and test procedures.
• Perform data collection and post-test data processing.
• Off-hours and travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
