Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Table Games Supervisor to assist in daily operations of our table games Department. This full-time role requires leadership of dealers, adherence to AML and currency reporting, and maintaining game integrity.

You will monitor staff, manage chip replenishment, oversee count procedures, and support the Shift Manager. English communication and prior casino experience are required; physical demands apply in a casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related experience and/or training in card room operations.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AML Program and regulator requirements including Title 31 and CTRs.
• Supervise dealers and monitor performance to ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee table games integrity and count procedures.
• Instruct staff on table assignments and game duties.
• Assist Shift Manager with gaming operations.
• Handle guest complaints and maintain professional guest service.
• Ensure compliance with currency reporting requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements
• Monitors the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
• Oversees and maintains integrity of Table Games activity.
• Possess good working knowledge and understanding of Table Games.
• Approves and oversees count table inventory at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Facilitates replenishment of chips.
• Supervises issuance of cards.
• Instructs personnel on table assignment.
• Ensures application and/or compliance of federal currency reporting requirements.
• Handles minor guest complaints.
• Assists Shift Manager with gaming operations.
• Can perform duties assigned by Shift Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the dealers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; gives input on performance appraisal; rewarding and disciplining employees per approved casino policies; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED, and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in card room operations, to include but be limited to experience as a dealer and/or Floor Supervisor.
• Must possess the ability to differentiate Cheque color and appropriate values of each.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escal when located in the casino environment.Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
