Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos is seeking a Table Games Dealer to deal cards, exchange cash for chips, and pay/collect bets while delivering excellent guest service. You will adhere to AML regulations and casino policies, maintain table integrity, and work in a casino environment with moderate noise and smoking areas.

A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year related experience are required. You must be auditioned and pass proficiency tests to demonstrate dealing efficiency and reliability.

A Table Games Dealer deals cards, sells chips to customers, pays customers and collects bets, and verifies fills/credits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Provides excellent guest service.Must adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements.Maintain a friendly relationship with customers.Exchange cash for playing chips.Ensure that wagers are placed before cards are dealt.Deals cards according to casino standard procedures.Compute payable odds to pay winning bets.Pay winning bets and collect losing bets.Possess good working knowledge and understanding of Agua Caliente 21 games.Adheres to casino policies, procedures and internal controls.Maintains integrity of table games activity.Responsible for table security at all times.Maintain a clean and neat table at all times.Responsible for depositing paperwork in drop box.Verify currency before placing in drop box.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneGAMING EXPERIENCE REQUIREDTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.One or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in dealing cards.Must be auditioned, meet the Agua Caliente Casinos requirements for dealing efficiency and pass appropriate proficiency test.Must be able to deal the game in a fluid manner.Must possess the ability to differentiate Cheque color and appropriate values of each.Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.Working Conditions/Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
