Job summary

Anton Paar USA, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer Texture and Extrusion based at the US Headquarters in Ashland, Virginia.

This full-time role provides sales support including feasibility studies and resolves customer application questions for texture analysis and extrusion within the Eastern region. The position reports to the Business Unit Sales Manager and offers a base salary range of $73,500 to $83,200 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in texture analysis, mixing, extrusion, or related methods.
• Exceptional communications skills (written, oral, and presentation) for interactions with clients ranging from Quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies (sample measurements) and provide technical support.
• Installations, training, and technical support.
• Interpreting data and troubleshooting issues.
• Participating in conferences and trade shows.
• Travel up to 50% (including overnight) for trainings, demonstrations, and installations.
