Job summary

The Kasper Group is seeking a Textile Associate to support fabric sourcing and development for Kasper, Anne Klein, LeSuit, and Kenneth Cole brands. You will create fabric charts, negotiate with mills and vendors, and ensure color standards throughout lab dips to production dye lots.

You will review fabric tests, advise on content and pricing, manage the seasonal fabric library, and collaborate with Design and Production teams to optimize fabric flow and stock.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of fabric sourcing and development experience.
• Demonstrates strong organization and attention to detail.
• Experience with woven and knit construction and development.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fabric charts in MS Excel.
• Negotiate target pricing and shipment delivery with mills/vendors to meet goals.
• Review issues with vendors to ensure fabric quality in bulk.
• Maintain color standard records from lab dips through production dye lots.
• Review bulk fabric tests and approve fabric content and pricing in PLM.
• Evaluate fabric defects and coordinate with vendors, mills, and factories to resolve issues.
• Establish and maintain seasonal fabric library for sourcing and counter-sourcing.
• Support textile manager and Design/Production teams to optimize fabric flow and stock distribution.
