Job summary

The Kasper Group in New York seeks an experienced CAD Artist to create production-ready artwork for apparel prints across multiple divisions. You will work with Design, Textile, and Production teams to ensure color accuracy, repeat integrity, and timely delivery.

You must have 5+ years CAD experience in textiles or apparel, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and NedGraphics, and strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD experience in apparel/ textile/ print industries.
• Advanced proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and NedGraphics.
• Strong understanding of textile repeats, print layouts, recoloring, and production artwork prep.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute production-ready CAD artwork for apparel prints across divisions.
• Recolor existing artwork to support seasonal/customer needs.
• Prepare and maintain production-ready artwork files for internal teams and external vendors.
• Update print and textile artwork based on design direction and production requirements.
• Review and implement artwork revisions throughout development and production.
• Ensure artwork accuracy, color consistency, and repeat functionality.
• Collaborate with Design, Textile, and Product Development to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain organized digital artwork libraries and production files.
• Create technical repeats and artwork packages using NedGraphics, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Assist original artwork development and seasonal print initiatives as needed.
• Support all divisions including Dresses, Sportswear, Main Line, and Special Markets.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute production-ready CAD artwork for apparel prints and textiles across multiple divisions.
• Perform recoloring of existing artwork and prints to support seasonal and customer-specific needs.
• Execute repeat layouts, resizing, scale adjustments, and artwork modifications while maintaining design integrity.
• Prepare and maintain production-ready artwork files for internal teams and external vendors.
• Update existing print and textile artwork based on design direction, customer requests, and production requirements.
• Review and implement artwork revisions throughout the development and production process.
• Support production updates and ensure artwork accuracy, color consistency, and repeat functionality.
• Partner with Design, Textile, and Product Development teams to ensure artwork is executed accurately and delivered on time.
• Maintain organized digital artwork libraries, colorways, repeats, and production files.
• Create technical repeats and prepare artwork packages utilizing NedGraphics, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Assist with original artwork development and seasonal print initiatives as needed.
• Support all divisions, including Dresses, Sportswear, Main Line, and Special Markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD experience within apparel, textile, print, or related industries.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and NedGraphics.
• Strong understanding of textile repeats, print layouts, recoloring, and production artwork preparation.
• Experience working with apparel prints and textile artwork.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Design, Textile, Product Development, and Production teams.

Salary Range: $75K - $95K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
