Job summary

Collins Aerospace - Pueblo site, Colorado is a dynamic carbon brake machining operation. As a Textile Operator I you will learn the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in textile production processes.

You will have the opportunity to be trained to use Preform Lectra System, Forklifts, Scissor Lifts and power tools. Rotating shift structure includes 4-on/4-off, 12-hour shifts, and built-in overtime with competitive pay of $18.50/hour plus $2.25/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Person (citizenship or eligible status) as defined in the posting.
• Minimum of 6 months industrial/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all engineering instructions and SOPs.
• Learn data entry requirements and process documentation.
• Operate textile manufacturing and test equipment.
• Perform in-process quality checks (SPC, Areal Weight, Mahlo, VMS).
• Operate support equipment: Preform Lectra System, Forklifts, Scissor Lifts, Power Tools.
• Meet department productivity targets.
