Job summary

Goodwill-Industries is seeking a textile processor to sort, price, and tag donated textiles on-site. The role supports the flow from donation intake to sales floor, working under Store or Production management with performance reviews.

Responsibilities include meeting an 80 PPH target, retrieving sheets, transporting loads, and maintaining organized racks. Strong literacy, basic math, and reliable teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexible availability.
• Able to frequently bend, twist, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, and brand names.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Tactful communication with the public and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Sort, price, and tag donated textiles at a minimum rate of 80 pieces per hour (PPH).
• Retrieve Textile Production Sheet at the start of each shift and submit on completion.
• Transport carts containing items to be processed.
• Process donations promptly and dispose of trash as needed.
• Organize racks for efficient stocking.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
