Job summary

Goodwill Industries is seeking staff to receive, sort, price, tag, and stock donations in a fast-paced retail setting in Merrillville, IN. The role reports to Store Manager or Production Manager and supports a mission-driven retail operation.

Primary duties include meeting an 80+ PPH textile processing rate, organizing racks, and transportation of items. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy are required.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Tactful communication with public and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Sort, price, and tag donated textiles at 80+ pieces per hour.
• Retrieve Production Sheet at shift start and submit on completion.
• Transport items to processing area and organize racks for stocking.
• Dispose of trash in designated receptacles and manage daily workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
