Job summary

Goodwill Industries Group in Niles, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Support Associate to receive, sort, price, tag, and stock donated textiles, helping move donations quickly from the drive-thru to the sales floor.

You will work under the Store Manager or Production Manager, with starting pay at $11 per hour and increases to $15–$17 per hour as production milestones are met, plus the potential for progression. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Adherence to standard retail practices and dress code.
• Familiarity with current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, brand names.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Tactful communication with the public and co-workers.
• Flexible availability to work varying schedules.

Responsibilities

• Sort, price, and tag donated textiles at a minimum rate of 80 pieces per hour.
• Retrieve Textile Production Sheet at the beginning of each shift and turn it in upon completion.
• Transport carts containing items to be processed.
• Process donations promptly.
• Organize racks for efficient stocking.
