Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills, Inc. in Washougal, WA is seeking a Blanket Operator to cut, sew, inspect, fold, and package blankets for shipment. You will support production quality, efficiency, and safety within a textile manufacturing setting.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Benefits include paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, disability, shoe reimbursement, 401(k) with company match up to $750 annually, and sick leave/vacation accrual from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in textile production or industrial sewing is preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Attention to detail and product quality.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cut fabric and blanket materials to specifications.
• Operate sewing equipment to attach labels and bindings.
• Inspect blankets and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Fold, package, tag, and prepare products for shipment.
• Record production counts and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and support production flow.
• Cross-train in other production areas as needed.
