TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor for its Irving, Texas operation. You will oversee a claims unit handling Texas workers’ compensation claims, supervising Examiners and Assistants, and providing technical guidance to staff.

The role requires strong knowledge of Texas workers’ compensation rules, excellent communication, and the ability to manage staffing, diaries, and deadlines to ensure compliant, timely claims handling.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of Texas workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and medical terminology.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and develop employees with varying levels of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a claims unit handling Texas workers’ compensation claims.
• Supervise Examiners and Assistants and coordinate with staff across locations.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and performance oversight.
• Ensure compliance with Texas workers’ compensation requirements and client instructions.
• Monitor diaries, priorities, and deadlines for timely claims handling.
• Review and approve priority payments within authorized limits.
• Coordinate audits and client file reviews and address action items.
• Prepare and evaluate monthly client reports.
