Job summary

King’s Insurance Staffing seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Supervisor in Texas to lead daily claims activities and provide technical support to a team of professionals handling Texas files. This role emphasizes leadership, quality assurance, and operational support, with remote work allowed for candidates residing in Texas.

You will oversee senior claims staff, coordinate assignments, and act as a technical resource for complex medical issues, reserving, litigation, and settlement

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience, including complex and litigated claims.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience overseeing claims examiners.
• Active TX adjuster license.
• Reside in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws, medical terminology, investigations, and benefits administration.
• Experience reviewing reserves and settlements.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to a team of Workers’ Compensation claims examiners.
• Coordinate team assignments, balance workloads, maintain efficient operations.
• Serve as technical resource for complex medical issues, indemnity benefits, litigation, and settlements.
• Evaluate claim files for accuracy, appropriate reserving, thorough investigations, and effective resolution strategies.
• Monitor claim activity, outstanding tasks, and examiner performance to promote timely progression.
• Assist team members with interpreting Workers’ Compensation regulations, coverage provisions, and requirements.
• Review requests for increased reserves and settlement approvals within designated authority levels.
