Job summary

GBA is seeking a Principal - Texas Wastewater Leader in Austin, TX to provide strategic, technical, and business leadership for the Wastewater Treatment practice across Texas. This executive role focuses on growing market presence, strengthening client relationships, and guiding high-performing teams to deliver high-quality municipal wastewater solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, mentoring future leaders and advancing GBA's position

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
Texas PE license required or ability to obtain licensure.
15+ years of progressive experience in wastewater treatment or utility infrastructure.
5+ years of leadership experience managing leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong background in municipal wastewater systems and utility infrastructure.
Experience leading complex infrastructure projects from planning to implementation.
Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to grow GBA's wastewater treatment practice in Texas.
Lead client development efforts and pursue major projects and programs.
Provide strategic and technical leadership for wastewater projects and infrastructure delivery.
Implement QA, risk management, and project governance practices.
Develop people and leadership within the Water Environment practice.
Monitor financial performance, resource allocation, and overall operations.
