Job summary

GBA is seeking a Wastewater Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead engineering teams and deliver municipal infrastructure projects across Texas. You will manage design for wastewater treatment plants and collection systems, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality technical deliverables.

The role blends technical problem solving with leadership, offers growth within a respected firm, and requires a PE license, a civil/environmental engineering degree, and 12+ years of experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• PE license required.
• Multistate licensure or TX licensure preferred.
• Experience in municipal wastewater infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience mentoring engineers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for wastewater treatment plants and collection systems.
• Guide multidisciplinary project teams through complex infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical review and direction on engineering deliverables.
• Support hydraulic modeling, process evaluation, and rehab design.
• Mentor project engineers and developing staff.
• Collaborate with Water Environment teams across regions.
