Job summary

InfraRec. | B Corp™ seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical transmission line and substation construction projects across Texas.

You will oversee preconstruction through completion, manage schedules, budgets, safety, and quality, and coordinate with utilities, engineers, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical construction, strong financial and commercial acumen, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in electrical construction, utility construction, transmission, substations, or related heavy construction.
• Ability to manage budget, schedule, safety, quality, and customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of electrical transmission or substation construction processes.
• Experience with utility clients, engineering firms, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Financial acumen including forecasting, cost control, change orders, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful execution of assigned electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement, and project documentation.
• Lead project teams including field personnel, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with owners, utilities, engineering firms, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
• Review contracts, drawings, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to protect schedule and profitability.
• Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and monthly projections.
• Negotiate and administer subcontractor and vendor agreements.
• Communicate updates and financials to senior leadership.
