Imperium Global is seeking a Project Manager for its Austin, TX team to deliver high-voltage transmission and distribution projects from pre-construction to closeout.

The role involves overseeing multiple crews, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery, and applying OSHA codes and standards to maintain compliance and safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of powerline construction experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA codes and standards.
  • Strong leadership, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to direct multiple crews and manage full project lifecycles.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship offered.

Job description

As the business continues to expand across Texas, a highly respected, multi-decade utility construction contractor and subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company is seeking a Project Manager to join its Austin, TX team.

This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of high-voltage transmission and distribution projects, leading delivery from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager will oversee multiple crews and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, playing a key role in safe, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery.

The company has built high-voltage power line projects across the United States for more than 75 years, with a reputation for safety-first execution and a field-first culture where many senior leaders started their careers on the crew. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to step into a high-responsibility role with a genuine path to advancement.
