Job summary

Goode Company is seeking a Grill Cook to manage a focused kitchen station with speed, consistency, and respect for ingredients and guests. You will set up, stock, and maintain the grill area, monitor temperatures, and ensure menu items are cooked to recipe standards.

The role requires following recipes, staying calm under pressure, and coordinating with the line, expo, and service teams to deliver quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Grill cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes, stay composed under pressure, and communicate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the grill station for efficient service.
• Manage grill temperature zones and cook proteins and vegetables to requested doneness and recipe standards.
• Read tickets and coordinate timing with line, expo, and service teams.
• Monitor product quality, pars, rotation, waste, and food-safety controls.
• Complete opening, cleaning, breakdown, labeling, and closing tasks thoroughly.
