Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing, LLC. is seeking skilled Steel Welders in McGregor, Texas to fabricate tanks, frames, and enclosures using MIG welding.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing setup and welding operations, and adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Candidates should have welding experience, pass a weld test, and be able to read fabrication drawings and measurements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful weld test completion required.
• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings and work instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and verify dimensions.
• Experience with welding and fabrication tools; attention to detail.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld steel and stainless-steel components.
• Perform setup, layout, fit-up, and tack-up of tanks and frames.
• Square and weld configurations with dimensional accuracy.
• Weld in vertical and horizontal positions.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols; verify with measurement tools.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards.
