Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join its Energy Transition team in support of siting and routing projects in Texas. The role involves leading studies, pursuing CCNs, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to deliver quality client outcomes.

The candidate will balance client development with project delivery, manage teams, and engage with diverse stakeholders while embracing Arcadis’ hybrid work structure and travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or similar discipline.
• 12+ years of experience leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects in Texas.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams, managing schedules and budgets.
• 5+ years of experience leading project pursuits, including direct client communication and cost estimates.
• 5+ years of experience leading CCN for the PUC of Texas (PUCT).
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists and other specialists on siting/environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies and prepare CCN applications for the PUCT.
• Write and review technical siting reports and perform QA/QC on deliverables.
• Collaborate with public outreach and permitting teams to ensure project success.
• Lead cross-disciplinary project teams and develop siting strategies with clients.
