Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join the Energy Transition team in Texas. You will guide routing and siting studies, manage PUC applications, and lead client development as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires deep siting experience, strong technical writing, and leadership in pursuing opportunities, with travel 15-20% and a hybrid work environment in the Texas market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in siting electric transmission line and substation projects in Texas.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams, managing schedules/budgets, and delivering high-quality work.
• 5+ years of experience leading project pursuits, including client communication and scope/cost estimates.
• 5+ years leading CCN for the Texas PUC (PUCT).
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists, and other specialists on siting/environmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies, PUC siting applications, and write/ review technical reports.
• Provide QA/QC of deliverables and regulatory filings.
• Develop siting strategies and coordinate with clients for outcomes.
• Lead pursuits and proposals, including scope, schedules, and costs.
• Mentor and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members in Energy Transition.
