Job summary

Western States Metal Roofing is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our Texas market, focusing on new business and expanding current accounts. This role requires in-person territory coverage and the ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships across construction and architectural channels.

You will present products and solutions, prepare quotations, and manage a robust CRM-driven pipeline while collaborating with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing and Sales

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and manage customer relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage an assigned territory independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to grow sales throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Maintain regular in-person visits with customers and prospects.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with existing accounts.
• Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, projects, and needs.
• Present Western States Metal Roofing products, capabilities, and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and consistently follow up on open opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and work toward assigned sales goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and document customer interactions.
• Provide sales forecasts and required territory reporting.
• Communicate customer feedback, competitive information, and market opportunities to leadership.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive excellent service.
• Continuously develop knowledge of metal roofing products, applications, and industry trends.
