Western States Metal Roofing is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in the California market. The role focuses on developing and expanding an assigned territory through new business development and ongoing client engagement, while partnering with internal teams to deliver top-tier service.

You will build long-term partnerships, present our roofing solutions, and manage quotations and forecasts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and manage customer relationships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage an assigned territory independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to grow sales throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify, prospect, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Maintain regular in-person visits with customers and prospects.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with existing accounts.
• Develop a strong understanding of each customer\'s business, projects, and needs.
• Present Western States Metal Roofing products, capabilities, and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and consistently follow up on open opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and work toward assigned sales goals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and document customer interactions.
• Provide sales forecasts and required territory reporting.
• Communicate customer feedback, competitive information, and market opportunities to leadership.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive excellent service.
• Continuously develop knowledge of metal roofing products, applications, and industry trends.
