Job summary

STULZ seeks a Director of Manufacturing Operations for the Denton, Texas campus to unite two plants under one operating system with a single leadership team and KPI set. The role drives production, planning, materials, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering while collaborating with Quality, procurement, engineering, finance, HR, and PMO.

The candidate will lead Lean initiatives, build a strong site leadership team, and deliver on-time delivery, safety, and cost targets, reporting progress

Qualifications

• Proven multi-department plant leadership spanning production, materials/planning, and maintenance.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume, make-to-order manufacturing of engineered equipment.
• Track record of measurable results using Lean manufacturing and a structured operating system.
• Advanced ERP/MRP knowledge; SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis; Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead site leadership team and develop succession depth for key roles.
• Drive safety, culture, and accountability while applying company policy with HR.
• Deliver the annual production and revenue plan for the Denton campus.
• Synchronize Plant 2 output with Plant 1 to support final assembly.
• Deploy the operating model, KPIs, and continuous improvement program across the site.
• Lead Plant 2 startup and integration, merging two plants into one site.
