Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Director of Engineering for the Texas campus to lead Manufacturing, Process, Industrial, Test, and NPI Engineering, plus Customer TPM activities. The role focuses on site safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity while aligning with global engineering standards.

You will drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, champion automation, and manage readiness for new product introductions while partnering with the Global Director of Engineering to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Test Engineering, Test Automation, NPI Engineering, and Customer TPM teams for the Texas campus.
• Drive site engineering leadership and capability development to support factory growth and operational scalability.
• Own deployment of automation strategies and standardized test platforms across the Texas site.
• Lead NPI readiness, pilot builds, process validation, and production ramp activities.
• Engage with customers to translate requirements into manufacturing execution plans and KPIs.
