Job summary

STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to unify Denton Plant 1 and the new Plant 2 into a single site with one operating system and one leadership team.

You will lead Production, Planning & Materials, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering, partnering across Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and HR. The role requires hands-on, visible leadership on the shop floor, driving safety, delivery, productivity and inventory improvements while building a

Qualifications

• Proven multi-department plant leadership covering production, materials/planning, and maintenance and/or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume, make-to-order manufacturing of engineered equipment.
• Track record of measurable results using Lean manufacturing and a structured operating system (tiered meetings, KPIs, standard work).
• Advanced working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and trending in Excel; Power BI or similar is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead site leadership for Denton Plant 1 and Plant 2, merging into one site with common goals.
• Deliver annual production and revenue plans and ensure on-time delivery at scale.
• Oversee planning, materials, warehouse, and inventory management; drive accuracy and turns.
• Direct maintenance and manufacturing engineering; manage capital equipment from FAT/SAT to ramp-up.
• Implement the STULZ Manufacturing Operating Model with regular KPI reviews and Lean tools.
• Control site budget and partner with Finance on margin drivers.
