twiceasnice Recruiting seeks a Director of Manufacturing Operations in East Dallas, TX to guide a 40-person team across production, supply chain, inventory, quality and continuous improvement. You will build operating systems to support growth, emphasizing flow, standard work, and material availability.

Applicants should have Lean manufacturing leadership experience in low-volume, high-mix or complex assembly settings, with a proven ability to reduce lead times and drive measurable improvements

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing operations management.
• 5+ years leading multiple manufacturing departments.
• Low-volume, high-mix or complex assembly experience.
• Experience with lean management in manufacturing.
• Experience reducing lead times and improving flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, supply chain, inventory, quality, and facilities.
• Develop production flow, capacity, scheduling, and standard work systems.
• Reduce order-to-ship lead times and improve on-time delivery.
• Build material replenishment, point-of-use, and inventory systems.
• Improve supplier performance, sourcing, material availability, and lead times.
• Move quality controls upstream to reduce defects reaching final testing.
• Establish daily management and structured problem-solving systems.
• Lead lean improvements across low-volume, high-mix production.
• Develop operations leaders and an approximately 40-person team.
• Build capacity to support growth without proportional labor or space increases.
