Job summary

Taylor Twining, a Houston-based commercial defense firm, seeks a 0-7 year associate attorney to manage an active caseload across Texas in insurance defense and commercial litigation. The role emphasizes trial-focused case development, deposition preparation, and collaboration with senior attorneys.

You will coordinate with clients, experts, draft and respond to discovery, and plan hearings, motions, and trial strategy while maintaining professionalism and client service.

Qualifications

• Significant litigation experience in Texas state and federal courts.
• Active member of the Texas Bar in good standing.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction with prompt communication before, during, and after cases.
• Conduct and support discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Research and analyze the law, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
• Remain current with developments in the law.
• Organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects and deadlines.
