Job summary

Jobot seeks an Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of insurance defense experience to join its growing Texas practice in a hybrid office model across Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, or Austin. You will handle complex insurance defense matters, including depositions, motions, hearings, mediations, and direct client interaction.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. and active Texas bar, with strong writing, case management, and communications skills.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
• 3-7 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial trucking, transportation, construction defect, general liability, or personal injury defense.
• Strong legal writing and motion practice skills.
• Excellent communication and case management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from start to finish.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions and pleadings.
• Attend hearings and mediations.
• Work directly with clients; trial experience welcomed but not required.
