Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Of Counsel Attorney with 7-10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience to join our growing Texas team. The position offers a hybrid schedule and a strong platform for complex litigation with direct client contact.

The ideal candidate will manage complex cases from start to finish, handle depositions, draft dispositive motions, and participate in mediations while collaborating with clients and a respected team of trial attorneys. A Texas Bar license is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Texas Bar license.
• 7-10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling commercial trucking and transportation matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of files from inception through resolution.
• Take depositions and draft/argue dispositive motions.
• Participate in mediations and coordinate with clients throughout the litigation process.
• Trial experience is a plus.
