Job summary

Robertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is seeking a motivated Litigation Legal Assistant to support our Texas foreclosure practice. You will assist attorneys with filings, document management, and client communication.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year as a legal assistant, familiarity with Westlaw/LexisNexis, and strong organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, an Associate's is required, and knowledge of Texas foreclosure laws is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in creditors' rights or real estate law; willing to train the right candidates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Texas foreclosure laws and procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings, in compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.
• Manage and organize case files, including electronic and physical documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and effectively.
• Coordinate and schedule court appearances, and other legal proceedings..
• Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the litigation team.
