The Mortgage Law Firm in Dallas, Texas seeks an experienced Texas Associate Attorney to handle foreclosure-related litigation, loss-mitigation, bankruptcies, and related matters. You will supervise paralegals, coordinate with clients, and represent the firm in court and negotiations.

Ideal candidates have a JD, Texas bar in good standing, 5+ years of associate experience, and a strong background in foreclosure/title/bankruptcy.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and Texas Bar in good standing.
• 5+ years as an associate attorney.
• Background in foreclosure, title and/or bankruptcy preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend court hearings and prepare pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to foreclosure and related litigation.
• Supervise paralegal staff and manage uncontested and contested foreclosure matters.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and staff, and coordinate with the Managing Attorney.
• Research law and facts, prepare strategy analyses, and record billable work accurately.
• Provide high level customer service and guidance on legal work product.
