Job summary

Halff is seeking an experienced Construction Services/CEI leader to direct and grow our CEI practice in Austin, TX and Midland, TX. The role requires managing inspection teams, coordinating complex projects for DOT and municipal entities, and building strong municipal client relationships across Central Texas.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience, a Texas PE license, and the ability to guide project admins, inspectors, and sub consultants while pursuing new opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEI teams in Austin and Midland; manage growth and project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to project administrators and inspectors.
• Serve as CEI Senior Project Engineer for current and future Texas projects.
• Lead pursuits for CEI opportunities with local government and TxDOT.
• Manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction.
• Support business development and practice growth.
